The plan is to mount two Visaton B200's on the same open baffle with the top one working full range and one near the bottom crossed over at 100Hz (first order) to help pick up the bass.
Looking at Solen's website I see a number of options...
Hepta Litz

Standard (Solid Core)

10mH 16 AGW DCR 1.24
I've read else where on DIY Audio that the Hepta Litz sounds noticeably better than the solid core however; they seem to have a higher DCR. I thought having a lower DCR was more desirable?
If the solid core isn't inferior than perhaps would this... 10mH 12 AGW DCR 0.60 be my best option?

Of all the inductors I've tried, I prefer the Jensen / Alpha core foil inductors.
However, with the stratospheric increases in cost of copper during the past few months, you'll notice that a pair of this value air core inductors of any brand/type will equal or exceed the cost of a single B200.
You might want to consider bi-amping with (passive ) line level low pass and cheap SS amp for the low end. Or even better something like a gain-clone with switchable inputs (i.e. full range and low pass)

Parts values are much smaller and cheaper when applied at the front end of the amp, making tweaking a much less painfull process.
If you want to go passive and lowest DCR is important to you, then you could try iron core inductors (gasp! - did he say that?) Less copper= lower DCR and cost

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I don't think the "Passive Line-Level Crossover" will work in my intended application. I have some DIY Paradise Charlize amps I want to bi-amp by mounting one amp on each baffle in which both channels will be fed from the same incoming signal. Pretty much an active OB is what I am after...
I have some sub amps with a built in 2nd order adjustable crossover but I want to experiment a little. I know the inductors are relatively costly to the drivers and I am okay with that. As the crossover point is 100Hz, I’m just wondering how much of a difference there would be among those 4 inductors in this application.

In the bass/lower mid-range, you will hear no difference between air core and a good laminate core inductor. From my personal experience, I recomend Erse Super-Q inductors. That's what goes in all of my speakers.

Thanks for pointing that out Bob. The Super-Q inductors look like a very good cost effective solution.
