Re: ARTA Jig
It doesn't matter. In the ARTA configuration panel, you can chose the right or left channel .
You may have to play around with the sound card settings to find the right set of inputs and outputs that works. I added a few things I could think off to my blog.
When it finally works, you'll have a very useful piece of equipment that cost literally nothing to build .

can you please clarify - is the Line Out connection to line Out Left or Right (or doesn't it matter)?
(I'm not even going to use sockets & binding posts, just hard wire the plugs & crocodle clips....)
Thanks,
Pete McK

- The LT12 wolverine drivers suppose to be pretty good but not the best so I figure why get too sophisticated. It is a first project. Do something classic instead of exotic.
- Looking at some of the specs http://www.geocities.com/tadgesualdo/EVdata.html and http://www.geocities.com/tadgesualdo/Portcalculator.html
The LT12 line is very very close the LS12 line (and several of the 12" driver lines) so I figure I could use plans for one for the other. - This doc mentions the LS12 can use the Marquis enclosure -- http://www.geocities.com/msabc_terry/LSinstructions3.html
- Some of the pages of plans here have dimensions which would allow constructed from scratch instead of a kit.
http://db.audioasylum.com/cgi/m.mpl?forum=hug&n=101483&highlight=freddyi+marquis&r=&session= - There are very good plans for putting together the Marquis together from a kit here, I figure I just have to cut parts from scratch to match the kit parts and then follow the instructions --
http://archives.telex.com/archives/EV/Speakers/DIY%20Manuals/Marquis%20DIY%20Manual.pdf - Those plans are copywrited the year I was born which think is kinda cool.
