Probably the comparator AD8561 is KO. 5.9volts are too much without current limiting

So, does the oscillator still oscillate if you disconnect the cap to the comparator???

I have isolated the ocillator circuit. I disconnected the +V2 - 5.9V regulator circuit, disconnected the link between the SOURCE of the JFet and the input of AD8561. The active circuit is the +V1 - 5V circuit and the oscillator circuit. I cannot detect any meaningful waveform with an oscilloscope.
