Dear All,
I would like to build a Celestion sl 6000 sub woofer.
Has anybody built a sub on this principle?
If so what size was the baffle and how far apart were the baffles?
I have all the bits except the acbinet design, so any help would be gratefully received

Is this the dual woofers facing each other with a gap between?
If it is, there is no cabinet, the back and front of the drivers are exposed to the room.
I think the bass rolls off at 6db/octave and EQ has to be applied to bring the bass back up, much like a sealed box.
High Xmax and high Sd are necessary

Hello, how to build the filterbox for the system 6000? If you for some reason just got the speakers 🙂
Got my dipoles now but only 3 out of 4 speakers are working... I am happy to supply measurments if needed!
I am on the lookout for a replacement unit, or a repair.

Dimensions of such a cab isn't critical, so can be approximated close enough from this info: http://www.regonaudio.com/Celestial Sytem 6000.html
