Picked this up for $10 at a garage sale today, brought it home thinking I could google the driver information but so far no luck.
The only information on it is one small sticker that lists:
12" Dual input Subwoofer
WO:12567X 2701
It looks like one of the generic off-brand types, but I would like to know a little more about it before trying to build a cabinet for it, or even if it's worth the effort.
Figured for $10 it was worth a gamble. The magnet seems good sized so hopefully I can put it to some use.
Edit: A quick check with my multi-meter on the terminals shows 2.9 Ohms of DC resistance.

After your comment I looked at some Shiva images and it indeed looks like a clone.
Here is one example: SOLD! Avatar (later Adire) Audio Shiva 12" subwoofer driver
I added a shot of the back of my driver below, and it looks very similar to the Shiva's back, with vented pole and the same basket stamping.
There is a bit of difference in the back plate of the magnet assembly though, so I am sure its a clone and not an original.

It has a generic appearance, so I would not say it is a Shiva.
Your best bet is measuring the Thiele Small parameters.

No doubt that it's a generic due to pretty much no markings/branding and non-existent labeling. I was just hoping someone would maybe recognize it and save me some time.It has a generic appearance, so I would not say it is a Shiva.

I already have a few subs, so don't really need another, but I was overcome with garage sale fever. 😀
