Hi,
I would like to get help identifying the component as in the picture, is it a capacitor, TVS, VDR or anything else?
I couldnt find anything on Google besides one link http://legoespanol.iespana.es/articulos/motor.htm, see picture 5 & 6. Though the author wrote capacitor I can't recognize that as a capacitor...
The component is from a barlast for a fluorescent tube lamp.
Cheers Michael

Looks to me like a standard ceramic capacitor, however I miss the capacity rating.
Why do you think it isn't a capacitor?
With kind regards, Hannes

Friday it is
!
It looks like a cap, but its connected like a some kind of polyswtich/polyfuse and its marked really alike as one, 60V and 250mA rating I presume.
P.S. Those Lego motors are really impressive!
