I'm recapping my speakers and was wondering if these need replacing. These are in speakerlab 4s I'm not sure what generation.
Those caps look fine. I have replaced the electrolytic caps in my older Speakerlab speakers, but the other caps should go for another 20 years easy. You might consider measuring the individual drivers and designing a new crossover. With free measurement (Arta, Limp) and design ( Visaton Boxsim or Xsim) software today you have much more capability than the original designers. I expect you could improve the performance.
