help help help bare wire help im a muppet

hi all after a year of peaker building with many great hints from this forum im back to ask what is probobaly a very stupid question but here goes.

i have just acquired a new amp but it only has 6.25 mm jack speaker outputs where as my speakers are just bare wire. so i went down to maplins to get some jacks and was just intending on soldering the wires to the jacks simple enough i know then they blew my mind when they had on the shelf (drum roll please)

mono jack and stereo jack

so quite simply which one do i need or does it not matter ?
