As it is, i'm currently listening to a diy monitor using the scanspeak 18w8546 and the scsan speak 9700 tweeter.
I want new speakers!
After many hours of browsing, looking around, and doing some calculations (Loadspeaker design cookbook 5th ed.) i've reached some conclusions:
1. I want to use my old scanspeaks - all of them. I would like to add one 18w8546 each side - MTM array. Each unit in a 10 litre closed box (calculations showed this volume for a Q=0,6).
2. I would like to add two 21w8555-01 per side. Each of these in a closed box around 35 liters (Q=0,6).
What i Need:
1.Please check my calculations...😕
2. Crossover design - would like to go 3 way...
3. comments.
4. Anyone know how much deeper the scanspeak 9700 tweeter should be mounted in comparison with the 18w8546?
I've attached an unfinished .fig file containing the ideas i have for this speaker...
Thanks
Jacob

Check this speaker for mounting the 9700. This speaker also uses the 21w8555.
