Hi I got some behringer eurolive b415dsp from a friend, he tried to plug them into a amp and smoke come out and what looked like flames or a flash!
Upon looking at the board I cant see any problems, No blown out capacitors the ceramic fuses look fine but cant really tell if they are ok. the board looks fine cant see any burnt areas, but a couple of the capacitors do really small, but hard to tell if thats where its coming from. The big copper coil "thing" is really lose and the glue has come off.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! 🙂

He plugged the amp out into the XLR input of the speakers, I just pulled the board apart found its burnt out underneath.

Can this be fixed? or would I need a new board and is it worth it? I got the speakers for free.

I found a replacement board, but it does not look the same as my board.

Replacement Board Behringer Q05 00001 05213 Amp Assembly PCB for B415DSP | Full Compass
Is this the right replacement board? would it be cheaper to repair my board if it is possible?

The second picture in that link shows the opposite side of the board and that looks just like your board. If you get these things fixed make sure never to plug them into an amplifier again .

Can you show us the side with the components? I'm interested to see what's blown. If it was a controlled blowout prevented by a fuse, or if you blew components not meant to blow.
I wouldn't expect Behringer Eurolive amps to be dumbfreak proof, but it's worth a shot.

As I said in the first post they it was a mate who plugged it into a Amp, thats why I got them for free.

Ok so I tried fullcompass they didn't have the part in stock so basically I'm left with using something else to replace the board as a technician has suggested... or I've seen a technique where you can use a piece of wire and connect the two joints. Would this be a option? Please dont tell me to get it done by a service center... I just want to know if and how it can be fixed..
Did you contact Full Compass and ask if they could provide that board? Or did you only look on their web site to see if they listed it?
