Help Finding Magnets

Hi Guys,

Can anyone help me find some neo magnets measuring 50mm (long) x 3.5mm (wide) x 2mm (thick)?

I want to try and modify an existing tweeter that has spaces in the frame for these. They could be 3mm wide if it is more common. I can only find 10mm wide. They must be common though as I have seen these long thin sticks in B&G, Hi-Vi and OEM planar tweeters.

you can simulate this pretty easy in femm, there is a How to somehwere on this forum. its pretty nice. you can exaclty see what happens when.

if ur mnagnet top are north and bottom are south, at the ends they dont want to be against eachother since north rejects north (and you dont want to flip them). but even for me i hope somone can confirm that 🙂 haha

Hi There,
I did a little experiment were I made a magnetometer to find the effects of the gap between end stacked magnets and that can be found here,

Also, I did find out with the thing that, everytime you double the stack size (thickness) you double the total strength of the Magnetic Flux.
Just like connecting batteries in series.

jer 🙂
