There was a pretty large hole seemingly under 200hz.

seems like it was in a "Dope From Hope" from PWK? (there's the Cardinal rules wherever they may be too) - I've seen that loss with one of my H1 off the floor

I like my 12" 2-way on the ground.
But I'm thinking of adding another 12" for more fun midbass.
Loosely remembering in the article, if i just raised the loudspeaker up, there will be a big drop below below 200hz compared to what i am used to.
So adding another 12 under it (similar to a baffle step woofer i guess) may not help much.
So basically 1 x 12" on floor vs 2 of them stacked vertically.
I would think it would help punch a bit more, but maybe not.
