I am working on a little bit of a crazy setup for the bell system at a school. Right now I have a tone sent out to an amp, which goes out to all of the speakers in the building. I want to add in a relay which takes that same tone and sends it to a relay which be able to separate the tone to different parts of the building. From what I can gather, the tone sent out (pre-amp) is about 3 mA. Is there a relay that will get triggered that low and still be able to send out the typical 8 ohm 25 V signal? If so, is there a common store like Radio Shack that I could buy this at or would I have to order it from a website?
I'm not very knowedgeable in the technical arena of power/sound, just the idea guy. Any help is greatly appreciated!
