Help diagnosing Linn AV-5105 in bi-amp configuration

This problem could be my aging Parasound AVC-2500 output, or it could be the Linn AV-5105.
The Linn AV-5105 has the Linn EQ cards installed to biamp my center channel, and that's been working for decades.
There are a couple of symptoms:

1) On a few Blu-ray titles, the audio seems to clip - perhaps with deep bass. I believe the AVC-2500 is set to high-pass this output in the bass management section. I've tried comparing the soundtrack to the same movie on both 4K UltraHD and standard Blu-ray, and while the overall mastering level seems different, the clipping seems to be present (I need to audition this movie, Lucy, on another system to determine whether the clipping is in the original audio).

2) The built-in auto-power feature that is supposed to turn on and off the Linn AV-5105 seems to false trigger, but probably only when I leave the AVC-2500 on.

Subsequent to noticing the above, I believe that I'm now hearing momentary clipping during other movie titles.

The difficulty here is that the Parasound AVC-2500 was purchased used, to supplement my original, aging AVC-2500, and there are other known issues. One thing that happens somewhat frequently is that the subwoofer output will develop what sounds like a 60 Hz ground hum, but power-cycling the 4K player, AVC-2500, and TV always seem to clear that up. Even though it sounds like a ground loop, I assume that it's some DSP glitch, possible due to the J-lead socketed (not soldered) firmware chips (this theory stems from past success clearing up problems by reseating the firmware chips in the AVC-2500).

So, I'd like to troubleshoot this, even if I have to open up the Linn AV-5105, but I'd like to find out if there are any likely suspects where I should start. It's entirely possible that the Linn is still working perfectly, but the AVC-2500 is causing noise or clipping. I suppose another possibility is that I have a grounding issue that's not audible, but that triggers the auto-power signal detection input of the AV-5105. If there is a Linn community online, I might be able to find out whether there are known issues with aging amplifiers related to auto-power signal detection and/or clipping.

I also have a spare Parasound AVC-2500, and it might be worth swapping that in to see if one or more symptoms goes away.

Note that I have another Linn AV-5105 in the stock stereo configuration powering the Front Left and Front Right, and there are no issues there with auto-power or clipping (although it's sometimes difficult to locate audio glitches when you're listening to 5.1 surround).

I'd appreciate any suggestions, especially if anyone has experience with this line of Linn AV stereo (and bi-amp) amplifiers.
