That's definitely a problem. You have the other side to confirm the value.
Yeah but now my main concern is if everything was flowed correctly from the factory. I'd be really pissed to get it fixed then to turn around and have another component fall off and at best cause the same problem now and at worst burn it up...
Well I bought it new from tara back in mid 16' and I let sit in order ro save for the rest of the systwm so not much there. Lesson learned with this is don't buy stuff and let it sit till the warranty runs out... It's either I just get it fixed and hope it doesn't mess up again or sell it but I don't want to push my problems on to someone else.
I would try to contact Taramps through their website. Their support is pretty good and share the pictures you have with them. They may help you get your problem resolved to your satisfaction. I personally have had good experiences with them.
I have seen some of their amps come to me from people who don’t want to go through the warranty process for repair and I have seen several amps that failed due to soldering issues from the factory even around the mosfets on the bottom of the board.
I don’t see it often, but I do see it from time to time. Yours MAY be one suffering from this defect.

I shot them an email with it being the weekend and all it looks like I gotta wait. Well I hope that they can help me, I've never had to deal with their service so we'll see what happens. I also had a feeling from the beginning that it wasn't something I did, I'll be the first to admit if I don't know something or did something wrong, and with this being my first "real" system my biggest worry was blowing the amp so the very short time I did get to hear it I was all eyes on my volt/clip meters. Not to say it isn't my fault but I'm highly suspect of that.
If they reply and don't have a good answer, see if they will allow you to send it to barber02 with them paying him to make it right (if he wants the job).
That'd be nice, I know Mark is closer to me and that's who I was gonna send it to originally before I started to look into it.
Well I got an answer on the values of those components for anyone that was wondering and I got and answer on if they would repair it and that's a big no. The warranty seal part is a crock of **** though I linked them the ftc page about that, as for the installation and all that I did have it installed by one of their dealers so there's that. I guess I'm gonna have the local place do it and hope that it continues to work.

I understand why manufacturers refuse to repair if the tamper-evident seals are broken. That said, I don't think it's legal for them to refuse to do the repair, if it's legitimately under warranty.

Yeah its definitely not legal, it's been on the books since the 70's but was never really enforced until the right to repair thing started kicking off. I still can't help but feeling "salty" cause I'm 99.99% sure it was a manufacturing defect but I have no real way of proving it. That said I def won't buy anything and let it sit again, that was my fault.
