I've used many horns over the years as well as a tractrix horn by Bruce Edgar, and liked it at first. Never loved it.
What I use now is the DDS ENG 1-90 Pro
Some of my iterations
No horn sound. So much better. In a post buried somewhere on DIYaudio even Geddes liked it.
Its an oblate spheroid wave guide very similar, if not the same profile, as the GedLee Nathan.
Never heard the horns people have written about in this thread.

My experience with my Tractrix horns is that it is only the person sitting completely optimally in front of the speakers that gets good high frequency sound. I would like to have a relatively good sound on all 3 seats in my sofa.

How do you have your loudspeakers laid out in your room, i.e., are they widely set in the room's corners?

Chris, I dont have my speakers in the corners in my room. they are 1meter from the backwall and a bit more to the side walls, there are around 2,5m between the speakers, and the listening position is in the middle 2,5-3 meter infront of the speakers.
The speakers are 2 way with a 8" woofer in a cabinet, and free standing on top of that is a 400hx round tractrix horn with a 1" compressiondriver. the speakers are almost aimed directly against the sitting position in the middle between them.
