As near as I can figure out, (and I admit to reading badly garbled machine translated Chinese and Japanese websites from time to time) he is complaining that the bass quality is perhaps not as controlled/well damped or extended as he would like or maybe not - it's very hard to tell 😕
Transformers sometimes translate as cows for some reason I have yet to determine..

Many years ago, BPC (before personal computers) when the mainframes were "king", someone in the US government thought that it would be useful to program these miracle machines to translate languages. Little did they know what a futile effort it would be! Progammers, did, however decide that a good way to evaluate their progress, would be to have English translated to Russian (the language of interest at the time), then back to English, and view the results. As can be imagined, the results from this time period were mostly unreadable gibberish, but occasionally something humorous would print out. The example I remember, perplexed the readers, while they were trying to figure out why the computer was going on and on about "water sheep". "What the world are "water sheep"? Turns out it was the IBM's interpretation of "hydraulic rams"!

Chinese is hard to translate from Kanji to English.
Apparently the base Kanji characters start with old & simple terms.
So a "gallbladder" might be the basis for a more complex symbol that means "tube amp". The Chinese term for "gallbladder" might include the symbol for something with a "tube". What is really needed is the term "vacuum valve" - of course that might end up with something equally distant, like 'empty pipe door ' or worse...
Exactly how the Chinese manage to communicate with their language is a bit of a mystery to me... I suspect there are many Monty Pythonesque situations, some of which are not funny to the people involved.
