Hey there, I just googled, sub woofer forums as I am really stuck and it brought me here! I have just bought a JVC KD-SD631 headunit, and I have previously had my subwoofer connected to my old headunit(which is also JVC).
I was going to try and connect it up again and just swap the connections over, but the blue wire on my new head unit it labelled STEERING WHEEL REMOTE, that is the only blue wire I have? Can I connect my sub to that?
Please help
Thanks
Gillian 🙂 x

Hi Gillian and welcome. It may be an idea to post over in the car audio forum. I doubt you can connect your sub to a wire labelled steering wheel remote! 🙂

Oh I am so confused, I dont know where to post lol the only other thing I can connect it to is a red cable, I am guessing thats the permanent power one? :'(
Thanks for the welcome 😛 and quick response (I am a complete newbie at this lol)

The car audio forum is here --> Car Audio - diyAudio
Hopefully someone there will be familiar with your new model head unit, and how to hook it up to your sub 🙂
