- I've been reading this forum for quite a while. With all the recent new members and new projects, I finally decided to join.
- I dabble in DIY just enough to be dangerous. I've build a Zen and BOZ (thank you, Mr. Pass !) with a lot of help. I've also built a Bottlehead Foreplay preamp, and am currently working on some Paramours. This way I get some SS and some tube.
- While I may never have enough skill or patience at the level of, say, Peter Daniel, projects like that inspire me to build more stuff.
- I love good music, and the better I can produce it at home, well, the better. That's why I do it, although I admit taking some pride in building something that sounds good 🙂
- Anyway, thanks for letting me join, and thanks to all those who make forums like this possible.

- Well, Metallica and heavy metal isn't my "cup of tea", though I'm still a bit of a rocker. Lately, though, I really enjoy female vocals (such as Norah Jones recent release, Eva Cassidy, Karla Bonoff, Basia, etc.), acoustic stuff (Bela Fleck, Chet Atkins, Michael Hedges, etc.).
