Hi all. done a search, couldn't find any threads. So, using a 19-24 v power source, not having an L7812, how do i regulate those volts down to 12v for a 12v bluetooth module?
Simple - use a dc dc step down buck converter like this one:

Why not use an LM7812? That seems like the simplest solution. If you'd rather start with a finished board, you can find a metric s*-ton of regulator boards on eBay. Boards based on the LM2596 seem common and cheaper than dirt.
