Hi Everyone.
Allow me to introduce myself.
I'm a new member living in Amaterdam, Netherlands.
I've just become interested in DIY audio due to my dissatisfaction of the music my new Marantz (multi-channel) makes.
Now being budget restrained, I figured that either you have a complex system that's good (friend of mine, Krell ...) or have as simple a system as possible and invest in the few components it has.
So I just ordered one of those Chinese tube amps to use as power amp for my front speakers, fed from the Marantz.
But my B&W 603's might nit be able to handle that, so I'm also looking into full-range loudspeakers (same philosophy: rather buy one good unit than 5 mediocre ones at the same money).
OK, that's all for now. I look forward to tapping in to all the knowledge and enthousiasm on this forum !
