Hello. What music floats your boat? What kit have you got and how much DIY stuff have you done so far? You need to ne careful joining this forum as it can become addictive. I think since the year 2000 I have built about 15 amps of different flavours Class A , A/B, Class D, Chip amps. The level of satisfaction from DIY far exceeds the purchase of commercial stuff.

Well my setup has been cobbled together over the years but consists of:
Pro-ject Debut turntable
Cambridge audio A5 amp
Sony MDS-JE480 minidisc deck
Sansui D100 tape deck
Philips CD713
I also have a Sony CMT-M333NT I imported from Japan for its NetMD function
Music ranges from classical and opera to extreme black metal and everything in between. Well, except moden chart / pop music!
I've tinkered with things like re belting all the stuff thst needs belting, built a passable headphone amp with some stuff from aliexpress, added a power switch to my behringer phono amp, repaired countless pairs of headphones etc.
Currently looking at adding a headphone jack to my A5 amp and going to build a MP3 player cassette with Bluetooth that should work in my tape deck 🤞🏻
I'd love to get onto bigger projects but need to brush up on my limited knowledge first
