Have been into home audio since vinyl was just "LP".
Have built a few kits and am now thinking to build from a schematic. I'm not sure how to go about choosing a plan. I need at least 20 w/p/c and am thinking either a 45 or 211 SET amp.

Welcome to the forum...
getting 20 W out of a 45 is not really possible -- a couple watts out of these (but pretty special watts if well executed). And 211 requires some pretty scary B+ to get that much power.

This makes my decision for me -- going to forget the 45 and the 211. Thought I had seen some high powered SET amps on A'gon that used the 211 or the 45.
At this point I am considering building the 25 wpc OTL in "Audio Reality". I have Bruce's OTL SE which I really like. Just looking for a little more bass.
Anyway. Thanks for your input. I the internet great or what?
