Hello everyone,

I have been nuts about speakers ever since I was a kid, especially Celestion Dittons. Over the last 6 years I have managed to aquire a number of their models that I have been slowly tweaking. I don't know a lot about XO design so please bear with me.

Welcome to the forums Gavin.

The first "proper" hifi speaker I bought were Celestions, the original copper domed SL6. Sideways upgraded to the later SL100 some years later although with hindsight it wasn't a big enough difference to justify the cost.

Hi, one week ago I purchased a pair of new speakers ( Ciare made) and I
put them in a pair of boxes that I've done some 3 years ago.
Then I put The Jousha Tree and positioned the headshell on the track Bullet The Blue Sky...and I re-discovered the good old drum attack with full power 🙄 well, it was about 30 W...and the great guitar solo...well, also the voice...Great track 😛

I've never heard a pair of SL6s but I know that they are still a highly regarded speaker. If I come across a set locally, no doubt I'll snap them up 😀

Sorry, I should have told you what I currently have: 662, 33 & 2 pairs of 15XRs. Almost forgot, A3s too!
