Hello from newbie to this forum!
I'm helping a friend of mine to build a floorstanding 3-way speaker.Because of the limited budget we've chosen following drivers.Visaton W200S in 35l vented box,midrange Westra KF 130-1368 and Monacor tweeter DT100 in their own housing.I was thinking of cutting the bass on 250Hz,midrange on 2,5 khz.Waht do you think of this project? Does anybody have experience with this drivers?

JMO but go for a 2-way. Choose the drivers on the basis
that a proper design for the crossover is available.
Will save you lots and lots of grief.

I don't think crossover we'll be such a headache.We'll play with it ,if that we'll be neccessary

Hmmm..... if you think the crossover design will be easy then
you really do need to take my advice, if you do know how to
do the crossover properly you won't need any help here !

Since the project is basically a budget one, then I guess it doesn't hurt to give it a try. If you never try anything because its too hard, you never make any mistakes but you don't learn anything either 🙂
My advice would be, give it a go but don't expect it to be the most wonderful speaker you've ever heard, and if it doesn't turn out as well as you had hoped, don't get turned off, chalk it up to experience and maybe try something simpler next time.
I don't know anything about the drivers you have mentioned, but my approach (and I haven't yet designed any crossovers, am just thinking about it) would be to make sure the drivers have plenty of overlap either side of the crossover freq, without any nasty peaks (ie smooth rolloff at each end). probably a tall order but should simplify xover design dramatically.

we are now considering of doing a 2-way with monacor sph165kep as a midbass and dt100 as a tweeter.dunno...the cost is approximatively the same and we can only hope that the project we chose will be a better one.what do you think? to go 2 way this monacor or 3 way with westra and visaton I've mentioned before?

The important thing is that the crossover is properly designed
to take into account the bass units inductance, the tweeters
fundamental resonance, any frequency response quirks of the
drivers, phase response at crossover including the drivers phase
response and offset, and baffle step compensation according
the baffle width.
The above is much more important than selecting the "best"
drivers for your money. So without design and crossover details
its impossible to say that your driver choice is a good choice.
Note that some of the best designs take all of the above into
account with a very simple crossover, but some of the worst
designs are because they use a simple crossover.
A good simple design is this :

You will at least need to scale the tweeter crossover or use
series / parralell resistors to compensate for your tweeters
