Hi,
I found the forum while trying to figure out how to improve my recently cleaned up and restored setup. That is currently late 1980's stuff. Harman Kardon PM645Vxi and modified Infinity RS4001. I'm looking for cleaner input sources such as a some way to clean up the input from an iPhone, and computer. I would like to have S/PDIF to a DAC to my current integrated amp, and maybe build a tube amp to either replace my current setup of for bedroom. I'm a bit lost with the amount of info here.
I ran out of money as I was trying to buy some vintage Infinity speakers requiring 4 ohm or lower input. My current amp has a 4 ohm setting, but I have doubts as to if it can really do the job. I have a couple of good tweets that I could end up using to build some bookshelf speakers.
Interested in vintage equipment with modern input.
Lots of maybe ideas, not a lota cash.
-Cheers

Welcome to the forum! You're sure to find a lot of good ideas (and some crazy ones) if you look around here. Never be afraid to ask questions.
Welcome Jeff, and I know all about budget constraints..
Consider some small diy projects going forward, they're fun, can be "staged" to minimize financial strain to manageable levels over time, and in many instances will get you something you can't get elsewhere. 😀
