Yes, Invercargill, way too close to the Antartic continent. Zero degrees Celcius at the moment.
I hail from commercial radio broadcasting, starting in the early 70's.
Now involved with Low Power and Community Radio in the deep south.
I'm one of the old school who knows a little about most broadcasting related issues, and to the more experienced trained observer, can be just as dumb as the woefully un-initiated...
So this is why I've joined this forum to share what little knowledge I possess and pick the brains of my contemporaries.
Kind regards to other Kiwis and expats.

Mayor Tim's got more sense than I... He keeps skiving off overseas to where there's real sunshine... I'm in the wrong job!...

0 C is cold, quid est hoc?
Here in the Peoples Republic of New Jersey, we had -10F last winter, and that's veritable balm compared to Minnesota or North Dakota.

Wow... It's great that we left a lasting impression on your wonderful trip, apart from the parking ticket of course...
