Hello from Illinois

I have twin 2x15 cabinets and blew one of the original woofers. My amp can push around 700 watts per channel at 4ohm, so I would like to upgrade all four woofers to avoid blowing the replacements.

I am looking at three different speakers:
PRV Audio 15W1000v2 - decent price but pretty bad Qts at 0.68
Dayton Audio PA380-8 - Great Qts, but low xmax, not sure if this is a deal breaker yet
PRV Audio 15W1600 - Powerhouse, great all around but expensive compared to the other two.

If the boxes aren't sealed, instinct tells me that low Xmax is not so good.
