Ulm! My wife and I visited the Ulm cathedral with our friend Jon and his wife Andu, who grew up in Southern Germany. The cathedral has a tremendously tall spire and a display about the story of the Ulm sparrow! Our friend Jon and his wife Andi were laughing, and said the story reflects the northern German view that southern Germans are essentially country folk.
