Hi all. I am new to this forum. I joined to learn more about audio.
I am in the process of building an Elekit TU-8600s and wanted to have
access to any updates on the build from Victor at VK audio. I have also
picked up a Thorens TD-124 which will need some tweaking to get it closer
to its best performance. I have a tonearm on order from Alfred Bokrand
and which I will need to install and calibrate. Basically, I have "fallen down the hole" like the rest of you, if you get my meaning. Might ask some "stupid questions" so please be patient/kind....Thanks, Cliff

I am new here too and just built an 8600S. I live in South Hamilton on the north shore, so good to know there are others in the area enjoying the same amp. It's quite amazing! I stream digital at this point as I don't have access to analog, but I'm blown away by the tube sound. It's my first experience with tubes and I'm really impressed. Still only a few hours on the Cossors and listening only through headphones at this point. Looking forward to hooking up my Klipsch Heresy's to see how they perform.

Welcome to the forum! I'm obviously in the Boston area.. 🙂 I own two TD-124 and started a still active thread over in the analog source forum that you might find helpful.
