Hi everyone,
my name is Ashwin and I'm from Bangalore, India. I've been browsing the solid-state and loudspeaker forums for a while now, and finally decided to register.
My current project is a 3-way active system using LM1875's, active crossover from an old Elektor issue and el-cheapo Bolton speakers. I don't have golden ears, so my set up sounds pretty good 😉
The music I listen to includes Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Dire Straits, Al Stewart, Black Sabbath, and a bit of Hindustani Classical.
Good to be here.

Hi Ashwin and welome to diyAudio🙂
Hindustani Classical- sounds intriguing, any internet radio stations out there that play it? I'm always up for listening to something new😉

pinkmouse, about a year back I had searched for a Hindustani internet radio station, but I couldn't find any. I don't suppose much has changed sice then
🙁
It took me a while to get used to the Hindustani way of things, it's very different from western rock; but I found the effort was worth it. I guess the difference is one of culture; a simplistic way of putting it would be that the Hindustani way of looking at things and expressing emotions is different from the Western way, that's why when you first listen to H, you don't have a clue what it's all about. You need someone to guide you. I was lucky to have an aunt 🙂
