I am a novice to diy audio. I have become interested in full range speakers and D class audio and I am eager to try some small projects. I am currently having a friend build me a pair of 2.8 cubic feet bass-reflex cabinets from Commonsenseaudio.com plans. In them I plan to install some Audio Nirvana Super 8 full-range drivers.
I will either use a T-Amp I currently own or an Audiocostruire 2020 amp to power them.
I have an image in my mind of very small components alongside large speakers and am hoping to get a great sound.
I became interested in full range speakers after buying some Tekton bass-reflex speakers with 4" Fostex 103E drivers. The sound from these little speakers astonished me. 😀
I look forward to learning a lot from this forum.

Hi vonfilm,
Welcome!
Large, efficient speakers will never hurt when using smallish amps. I'm sure you will get lot's of advice from the caring folks around here as well.
(Cal, where are you? Beat you here! 😉 )

Darn it all Chris, how'd you sneak in here before me?
Welcome to the forums vonfilm. I too like the 103 and most of it's copies, but I like to use them as a mid rather than run them straight. I have a need for big sound.
