As I have been browsing the diyAudio site for some time now I decided to register today as I was able to help someone (i hope).
Done that I think it is appropriate to introduce myself.
I have been involved in audio for a long time. I was caught by the audio virus when someone in the house where I lived as a student had a problem with a preamp. So we swapped preamps to find out what the problem was. Besides solving the problem we both found out that my preamp lacked bass and his preamp wasn't that good in the high region.
As I studied electronics it resulted in a graduation based on a MOSFET power amplifier. Professionaly I worked as engineer on subject as Laservision and CD. Lateron in my career I got much more involved in management and marketing. The virus however did not go away🙂
So now here I am looking forward to discussions in mainly the SolidState forum. Knowing that a lot of things can be heard, I still want to know what is responsible for what I hear. In some sense I remain that engineer!
Best regards,

Welkom vanuit Amsterdam!
There is a lot to learn out here. And quite a few "Nederlanders" around too.
