Hello Trenth, I'm a new poster here. I've been experimenting with DML for a few months now looking to use them in a surround application. I've tried several different exciters with a few materials. My favorite so far has been 12"x16" Canvas Panel from Hobby Lobby and the P.E. EX25CT2-4 exciter. Both of these are very inexpensive. I'm mounting these with magnets and a 3D printed mounting box. With a little EQ and sub these sound decent.

The attached pictures are my test setup. I have the panel painted black and 5mm foam glued to the back.
