Hello diyAudio,
I’m an embedded software guy from Shanghai, China, but I like tube amp DIY. More than 20 years ago, I built my first tube amp, 6V6-SE, and really loved the sound generated by the tube after that. Till now, more than 20 tube amps made, including SE and PP. Most popular tubes, like EL84, KT88/6550, 300B,2A3, 4P1S, 6P1, 6P3P/6L6 etc are all touched.
Recently I'm interested in the circuit simulation, and start learning how to generate the spice model. I do know now how to get a tube model through some simulated data, but as a software engineer, what I'm thinking now is how to generate a spice model really based on the real curve data. I'm not sure if there is already similar software tools there to make it, but anyway, I'm thinking to get some ideas from here to start my implementation.
Thanks,
HiTube

Welcome HiTube. Did you find your way over to the tubes/valves forum here? There is a lot of information there, as well as many many models members have shared 🙏

Thanks Loren.
I‘m looking into the thread below, there are too many pages and lots of model info. I’v not figured out the knowledge I need yet. So hoping to ask if someone knows how then I may start from there...

This is the place to post known good spice models, and links to libraries, and/or library files. This should help to make good spice models more generally accessible to the membership. General discussion of modeling and measurement issues welcome.
