Hello everyone and Happy New Year. As I was looking through other introductions I realized I probably have no buisness being here. I have no electronic training. I've only had exierience replacing obviously bad parts. and even got lucky a couple of times, finding open circuits, shorts bad solder joints, and have repared appliances autos and etc. over the years. While on the net I ran across Basic amp repair site and have been trying to absorb info. I had seen a link there for diyAudio and have been visiting this site in my quest to learn what all those little parts do, how to diagnose and repair.
Hi Powerage and welcome to diyAudio. Don't worry you will fit in fine, there is no pre-requisite to have electronics training to join up here! Your experinces sound just like mine before I signed up here about 10 years ago 🙂
