After the rectifier you should have 300V according to the schematic. Try to measure what voltage you actually have there.

When you replace the rectifier you may have to add a small resistor between the rectifier output and the first cap (the 40µF part) to make the voltage 300V again.

Anyone care to comment on this Tanberg design.
As far as i know, the Sølvsuper 75, and the Huldra 5,
are both buildt with this design, and uses 2x84
and ecc83. To my knowledge the biggest all tube amps./radios
buildt by Tanberg. But my knowledge about circuts
are still very limited, so i would appriciate any comment.

I have tried earlier to attach the shematic,
but the image size is to big.
Am attach it as a zip. for those who are interested.
(never mind the radio part, am going to make a replica
with only the ps/powerstage.)

There have been some slight development in this case,
i recently got hold of a perfect condition 75-20
with mahogny cabinet (without speakers).

This would mean i got spare parts, and that`s temts
me to make that replica.
The problem is that this schematic confuses me,
so if anyone can be a real helper, and separate
the powerstage/ps with simple two innputs
one mm/mc stage and a cd. i would be very greatfull.
