lol. I dunno. I have seen in my readings on the site about 5 posts of people saying things like "Shame on those darn red things" etc. It just seemed like a theme to me, though I may be mistaken.
It's a metaphore for normal life. The mob always attacks those things that are different. When in point of fact it is the diversity of differences that make us strong...

It must be referring to the often red pcbs sold online that are copies (IP theft) of famous circuits (often Pass Labs).
IP theft aside, IMO, if your going to pay a boardhouse more, most charge a bit extra for a different color than the standard green, I would do black w/white silk, or gold plated copper and clear solder mask w/red silk. 🙂
In the commercial world, some companies use various colors of solder mask to identify prototype/pre-production/developmental PCB assemblies, but the specific details are entirely set by internal "house rules" and not standardized in any sense.

If I remember correctly green is the cheapest and other colours can cost more.
Chinese copy of Su-30 that they bought at first half of 2000'th. They work fast and can manufacture anything.
I don't know...I am rather fond of Pete's magical red board. Anything that was designed for 18WPC but makes 250WPC with minimal modifications is not to be laughed at.
