You won't get much bass from the Hedlund horn by itself. The Hedlund horn is more of a transmission line then a back loaded horn.
You will probably end up looking for a sub. If you don't mind the sub and like the looks and challenge of the Hedlund enclosure then it would probably work. But if you are going to end up with a sub, why build the big and difficult enclosure when something simple would work just as well.

I am looking for an enclosure that give decent bass to 80hz. I have a sub aready.
Could you recommend a suitable horn design that i can look into. I have always taught the hedlund give good bass by the looks.
I have put it into a big horn before bass extents but tonality and speed suffers.
MLTL just do not cut it at all. Big box with no bass .
