Heatsinks:Will these do for an Aleph J?

Hi-
A friend has some heatsinks (attached to rack mount chassis) which I can have at a 'bargain' price, in any reasonable number.

Each sink weighs about 9 lbs.
With the fins oriented vertically, the heatsink dimensions are:
10" H x 8.5" W x 3.5" D
(about 250 mm x 215 mm x 90 mm)

Will this do for an Aleph J?
How many do I need for a stereo amp?

What orientation/arrangement/layout would you use?

(I can slice aluminum here if necessary, and I'll be building the chassis).

Thanks for your suggestions.

Is there a spec in degC/watt units for the heatsinks on any of the Pass amps?
The calculation I did indicates 0.24 degC/watt for each of my heatsinks.

For that matter, what is the 'wasted' energy in Watts that the heatsinks need to dissipate on an Aleph J? The only 'numbers' I find are max output into 8 ohms is 25W/channel and the power supply should use a transformer that's rated at 150-200VA per channel.

depends on how hard you run the Fets. That calc says you've got 100W to play with under normal circumstances, and your circumstances are better than mine (FL v. Canada)

By that logic, you could bias up to 25 watts/fet if building a 2 pair aleph channel on a single heatsink. Hmm.. I'd prefer a little more room, as others have already alluded.

Those sinks are a real conundrum... One is barely enough, two is big package. (but then you can do almost anything)
