Hi all,
I m building a 10W SOZ (or tring to at least) and m looking for heatsink. I ve found two different kind of :
Here is a URL with drawing of the two types :
heatsink list
The first is the CO 5409 (or CO 5063 they are pretty much the same profile). The other is the big CO 5260 (SK 141 type but bigger). I wonder which one I should use. I fear that the wings of the big one are not thin enough to evacuate the heat properly. Any advice appreciated.
Thanks
Akira
PS : Does anybody has a link to a direct on-line catalog of heatsink profiles ?

I got 2 boxes of these heatsinks. They are BIG!
You could build a 10 watt SOZ with them no problem! 🙂
you could cut 2 of them in half for 4 sinks and make a
square chasis. Put resistors on 1 sink and FETS on the other x2.
You have plenty of room in the inside for your power supply, etc.
i'm using them for my Aleph 2.
