heating of mosfets

greetings i assembled anthony holtons av 350 n channel all irfp 240

hexfets are irfp 240 but used irf 250 amp plays hexfets do not heat much after
changing irf 250 to irf 460 hexfets get very hot any suggestions why so much heating

set must you bias again to stop heating very much
because new hexfets you put different have characteristics

The bias on irfp240 is around 3V4 per transistor and the bias on the irfp250 is a little higher.
Going from irfp250 to the 460 will probably have too high a bias and so too much standing current.
