Sitting in my lazy b***ard chair.
Has anyone measured the output transformer for the W4 (black potted one)?
As in *not* in the circuit, without feedback, looking for the ultrasonic rise frequency. Also the primary Hy (inductance)??
I could measure it myself, but that would take actually work and time. 😀
Anyone *know* for certain the manufacturer?

Is it a 51-17? If it is, maybe Chicago as the other Heathkit transformers numbered like that are said to come from them.
I'd have to check it to see the number...
not at this location, will be a few days before I have it in front of me, and then I have to remember to look!

Long pause...
It is a 51-17.
One is numbered on top, the other on the side...
so, has anyone measured these?

There are some measurements for that transformer in this pdf
