Heath sink size

Dear All,

I am in the process building Aleph 30

So far I have lying around chassis with heath sink size 15x4x1.5 inch

I calculate using Elliot Sound product come out .2123 c/w

I believe this req .25 c/w

Do you think is enough? if not, what is the actual size needed

mono ...... stereo ..... for one channel or both ?

The heat sink size is for one side

This will be for stereo

Any input please.... tks a lot

they're on smallish side but good for starters

search here for thread started by me - Babysitter for Papa's Koan ; that would help

in any case - build it and set Iq observing heatsink temperature ; I presume that 1A5 will be max Iq/channel for that case

The back plate is thin.
Take care to ensure the whole backplate operates at the same temperature, otherwise you lose a lot of the cooling capacity of the heatsink.
