Ok. I'm beginning my first project. Part are purchased, and the chassis is prepared to be punched. Now I have a question regarding my heater for 6SN7's. I am using a bridged rectifier, through two 4.7K capacitors to convert to dc (I haven't figured out what I will need for a resistor at the tail end to drop to 6.2VDC probably about .5 ohms give or take), but I also want to run a led light off of the heater.
Can I do this safely without introducing noise into the circuit or am I asking for trouble?
Is there another way to run a led for a power light?
Thanks

Put a resistor in series with the LED.
There will be no measurably noise added.
There will be no noise added, period. LED's are also used for quiet current sources and you are running it on DC, no pulses either.
Glow away dude.
