Heat issues and also replacement bulb hunting

Hi!

I am getting the Sony VPL-SC50 projector of mine back in working order (few small things to adjust to get the original fan surveillance totally off) and the new cooling system is also quite ok. The lenses and stuff right after the lamp are getting about 55-60c. I am a bit sad because I did not measure how much they were on the original cooling system of the projector so I just have to guess if they'll be ok, or maybe some of you know about this stuff and can help me... so... here is an image http://www.saunalahti.fi/heidik80/tweaknmod/tykki/sisaosaalta.jpg where where you can see the first bit of optics after the light source, and there are also few bits and pieces right after that. I don't know if they are made of glass or plastic but probably some of you can have good guesses and help me to tune the cooling to a good compromise between sufficient cooling and the amount of noise. What temperatures are normally ok for the optics used in these kinds of EQ? I do know the LCD's shouldn't get much over 40c, and they are ok, but what a about those lenses after light source?

I am also hunting for new light source because I know the bulb I now have is very probably going to burn up soon (the hours are full). The bulb looks like this: http://www.saunalahti.fi/heidik80/tweaknmod/tykki/lamppu.jpg. There is text "UHP 120W 1 517 767 11 Made in Belgium" on top of the bulb. It is driven by something which biggest bit has text "EUC 120 F/00 LAMPDRIVER" on it. Maybe someone knows bulbs that can be driven with that one so I don't have to get new PSU? In the end any (preferably cheap) bulb with reflector that fits in the about 60mm x 60mm x 60mm space and is about the same brightness as the original would do?

I am still going to check how bright image I'll get with the 81 white LEDs (9x9) pattern that'll fit in to the place of the bulb also if I just have the extra money or I don't find good enough replacement for the bulb. Can someone inform me if the 81 LED's heat up so much that I'd had to have as good cooling with them as I would with UHP/MH bulb because if they do I will not try it as it is probably too dim anyways?

I noticed that my old slide projector has a 24V 150w bulb in it, it looks like a short glass tube and has a small metal thingy that looks like a metal "accordion". What kind of lamp is this and how bright it's kind is in numbers? Can these be found easily for replacement lamps and how much do they cost? How many hours they usually last when cooled properly?
