Just thought I'd let you know. The following part makes it much more interesting to evaluate the Equibit offerings from TI, particularly if the TAS5015 can be had.

Preliminary consideration indicates this part has differential input thus making it suitable for direct interface with the high performance 5015. Integrated valid flag is also useful. I suspect optimal output transistors are the high frequency IRF units developed for Cirrus logic for MHz Class D audio switching.
I have not had the time to go deep yet and post this for it's value as news.
