Beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro as used in many many top studios around the world, for a good reason.
Very heavy for continuous use and will eventually crack your head as a nutcracker would do to a nut. And also bass-booster btw (+7,5 dB @ 30 Hz, +5 dB @ 100 Hz).
If you want actual sound without anything getting boosted, you should try Sennheisers.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

I'd say for around $200, the Beyerdynamic DT100 are the best choice I can think of. Just don't go for Beats like jacques antoine advice you to... horrible sound quality.
I was being ironic since I am not convinced that Trap qualifies as music.

The problem with headphones is that the pinnae perform an equalization function.
You need to find the brand whose dummy (or actual) outer ears most resemble yours.
It is also why a flat frequency response is not usually desirable in 'phones except for dummy-head recordings.
In my own case I have tried a couple of dozen or so and settled for Beyer DT770Pro as they sounded most natural and un-hyped to ME. All Sennheisers sounded just wrong but that doesn't mean that they would not work for you.

For Trap you probably need some heavy bass-boost headphones, the same that kids use on the street: Dr. Dre studio monster beats.
laughed my a$$ on
and probably any headphones (even earphones) can be used for this kind of stuff
EQ should be natural to a production engineer, you can tailor headphones response to a useful degree - as long as the base headphone is reasonable

while budget blowing you should also at least think about what the SVS Realizer does - and those of us who have heard it with a full personalized calibration think it really does it well - this is not a simple crossfeed or Dolby virtual processor
SVS Technology
there's also the http://seanolive.blogspot.com/2009/10/audios-circle-of-confusion.html plot of studio control room measured frequency responses wild bass variation to consider too

I'm looking for headphones that are good enough quality for producing Trap music.I have had a look at the Shure headphones but I'm not sure thats the way to go. Any Ideas for around $200-$300
AKG 701 or 702 are very good for the price.
For closed back I recommend Audio Technica 50x or 70x

Sennheiser HD250 Linear II (or Linear mk1) is an excellent sealed headphone. Ensure the earpads are in good condition and are the official pleather type from the manufacturer.
If you want an open-back headphone that doesn't cost a fortune, my pick is the Sennheiser HD540 Reference II.
Both of these models have a neutral transparent frequency response with high tonal accuracy.
