I'm planning to power an LM DAC3 wiht AGM batteries, and as I am organizing a power board, I thougt I might put some headphone amplifier circuit in to the board.
I wonder what is a standart and good way to implement an output selector between line output and headphone amp input?
I guess the line output can be used without any influence if headphones are not plugged in. But, what are the options if I don't want to bother unplugging cans?
My Linn Kolektor preamp uses 5 pin headphone jack which pulls the outputs of the opamps to the ground when the headphones are plugged in, but I am not sure how it disables the line outputs (could not trace the signal yet).
