if https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MWC_349 were your laser size standard then even a femto-laser wouldn't be anything to sneeze at
The cut could also be digitally pre-distorted with an inverse Crosley function, so people with cheap equipment could finally enjoy full spectrum high quality audio reproduction.
What is an inverse Crosley function? It seems unknown to Google.
Crosley is one of the new wave of cheap as chips and twice as nasty turntables on the market. Some say the garrard SP-25 was better!

It might be hard to electronically remove the effects of the 5g tracking force.

That's super funny. I suppose Crosly isn't sold in the UK? They are everywhere here. They also did a brick trade in fake olde timey radios with cassette players. Kids and grandmas love 'em!

I've never come across Crosley in the UK, but then I am not exactly your prime vinyl enthusiast. Will check with my FIL, who is.
I started out with an SP25 Mk2, and having seen that video I am certainly prepared to believe it was much better!

Yeah me too ! Then onto a Pioneer PL12D .... Those were the days, Tons of fun 🙂
Actually so did I. We had 3 in the house at one point if I remember. All the fun of stacking singles until the top one started slipping 🙂

What I saw said they are marketed in the UK under several other names to avoid the negative publicity.

Could it be a dastardly plot to ruin all the LPs out there in peoples' houses, so then having created a market for LP someone somewhere will 'discover' that he has a loft full of pristine vinyl which can be sold for high prices to those who previously bought his turntables.

To the best of my knowledge you cannot remove the effects of 5g tracking force electronically.
However they are quickly and easily removed with a small, hand-held vacuum cleaner.

By making them in China.
By making them in China.
To someone who knows it's amazing how sophisticated the whole optical assembly is on a DVD player especially on a player/recorder yet the cost is ~$2 from a Chinese maker. One customer costed the final trim of laser power at $0.02 and said it was cheaper to hire women to tweak pots by hand than develop an automated test.

Looks like the same cart as the Crosley.
